Facebook has become a hugely popular social media tool for millions of users, but unfortunately some are cashing in on the sites popularity by trying to scam some of its users. There is yet another scam doing the rounds tricking some users into allowing access to their accounts.
Patrick Goss of Techradar is reporting the latest scam claims to offer users the chance to see who has been looking at their Facebook profiles. A message reading “OMG OMG OMG… I can’t believe this actually works! Now you really can see who viewed your profile!” is spreading across Facebook.
People who are fooled to sign up then give permission for access to their account. Facebook scams are nothing new, but this one will appeal to a lot of people due to the type of offer being promised. Many Facebook users have wanted to know who has been looking at their profile since the site first started, but Facebook have so far not allowed this.
