Samsung Stealth V SCH-i510: First Specs Revealed?

By Alan Ng - Nov 26, 2010

Following on from our earlier report which informed you about new details for the upcoming Samsung Nexus S, we now have details on another, unannounced Samsung handset, which could be one of Samsung’s next ‘flagship’ entries for 2011.

As reported from Engadget, a new handset by the name of the ‘Samsung Stealth V’ is on the way next year, as confirmed by recent details over on the DLNA certification website.

The handset also has a SCH-i510 model number attached to it, which Engadget point out is very similar to the Samsung Fascinate handset on Verizon.

Specs confirmed so far include a 4.3-inch AMOLED screen, an 8 megapixel camera, and Android 2.2 Froyo as it’s operating system. Hopefully this gets bumped up to Gingerbread though, as it may be seen as a disappointment if a flagship handset in 2011 only ships with Froyo.

We’ll bring you more details on this handset as we get it. Do you think all Android handsets from 2011 onwards should come with Gingerbread or not?
