When the time comes for you to choose a new laptop, you face the same issues as you do when buying a new TV, what is the most you can get for your price range. You already know by its low price that specs will not be high, but are still more than enough for your everyday computing needs. A 2.2GHz Intel Celeron Processor and just 2GB of RAM keeps things running, so try not to get software that is system resource hungry. Other features include a 160GB hard drive, 2USB ports and just one speaker’ more details can be found here.

So what other alternatives do you have? Well the first is the Toshiba Satellite C655D-S5087 15.6-inch laptop. This model offers a little bit more, you get an AMD V Series Processor, 3GB of RAM, and a larger 320GB hard drive. However, this laptop does not have a webcam, so not ideal if you like to chat while on the move. More details.

Another choice is the Acer eMachines E525-2200 Notebook, the specs are almost the same as the first laptop mentioned. You get the same 2.2GHz Intel Celeron processor, but you do get an increase in RAM to 3GB. You will pay a little more though, more information here.

Finally we have the Acer Aspire AS5251-1805 15.6-Inch Laptop, this is a little like the Toshiba model above. You get a 2.20 GHz AMD V Series V120 single-core processor, 3GB of RAM and a 250GB hard drive. You also have a ATI Radeon HD 4250 graphics and a Crystal Eye webcam. For more details visit Amazon.
