Motorola Droid 2 Global: Verizon Push On Facebook

Since we brought you news on the release date for the Motorola droid 2, we have also mentioned other news, which includes details on the v2.2.20 firmware update, Verizon’s early upgrade offer and deals at Best Buy.
Now we have some news on the Motorola Droid 2 Global (previously dubbed the Droid 2 World Edition). According to Evan Blass over at pocketnow.com (sourced from Engadget and Facebook), the handset has now been introduced via Verizon’s Facebook page.
If you want the new Smartphone, you will be able to get it on a contract that runs for 2 years with an initial $199.99 outlay for the phone (minus a $100 mail-in rebate offer). This phone’s SIM slot adds support for up to four GSM bands and it is equipped with a fast 1.2GHz processor.
