We have an update on the infamous Verizon iPhone for you now, and some rather interesting news as Verizon CEO Ivan Seidenberg has dropped a few hints on whether his company will be getting Apple’s device next year or not.
As reported from 9to5Mac, Seidenberg was speaking in a recent interview with the Wall Street Journal, and although the CEO didn’t go into specifics about the Verizon iPhone deal, he did reveal that the reason why his company would secure the iPhone was because ‘Apple thinks it’s time’.
He added that ‘Verizon’s and Apple’s interests are now starting to come together’, but Apple will first need to take steps to allign their technology with Verizon’s.
You just know he is dying to bring out that CDMA iPhone in his pocket isn’t he? You can hear more from Verizon’s CEO over at 9to5Mac – let us know your thoughts on his somewhat, ‘protective’ statement.
