Fallout: New Vegas – Dead Money DLC – Release Date Info (Xbox 360)

For those of you looking for a new DLC to play with nearer to Christmas time, then Fallout: New Vegas fans might be a little happier as the Dead Money DLC is set for a December 21 release.

Bethesda Softworks sent out the press release announcing the release of this Xbox 360 “exclusive,” that states that the DLC will cost 800 Microsoft points or $10.

In the Dead Money DLC, you will be challenged to retrieve the “legendary” lost treasure of the Sierra Madre. It will feature new terrains, enemies, and choices as well as “three other captured wastelanders.” What they mean by this we are not sure, but Joystiq think it could be new companions.

Unfortunatly, the DLC is not planned for release on the PS3 or PC. Not yet anyway.

Will you be buying the Dead Money DLC with all the problems Bethesda have had with Fallout: New Vegas? Or do you think it should be free?

Bethesda…. HOW ABOUT RELEASING A FREAKING PATCH?! They're just pissing on us, laughing. Many, many people can't even play the game and they want us to PAY for more bugs? That's kinda funny. I believe it should be a free DLC, or at least a lot cheaper, just to make us, gamers, feel a lot better. But I guess I'm dreaming. Even if we ever get a patch, it probably won't change the fact that this game is worse than Oblivion and Fallout 3 together.
I guess the PS3 DLC will come sometime next year, and I'm pretty sure that EVERY problem found on the Xbox version will make their way on PS3. Fixing mistakes while porting is not what they do.

If Oblivion and Fallout 3 were REALLY that terrible to you, why would you play New Vegas? I havent played any Resident Evil since Code Veronica cuz the shit has started to suck.

be nice if it were free but i dont think that'll happen,
but yes they need to put out a patch for all the glitches in the game, it does get mildly annoying.

ya it has some mild problems like freezing on you and quest problems, but when they put out the dlc that means they can go back into the full game and fix the problems. its should be free for like the first week it comes out like what hey did with oblivion

ya the game is still pretty broken especially for the pc would be nice if they actually worked on fixing the problems that never should have even been wrong with the game on its release across all platforms before working on the DLCs but what do they care they have our money and all we get is a giant middle finger and a game that can't really be played due to all the buys gotta love it and Bethesda if your reading this all i want for christmas is to be able to play the game i paid 60 bucks for so get to work ^^

If you don’t like it, don’t play it! I refuse to support anything made by trearch studios anymore. Cod3 was garbage, world at war was absolute crap any it took months to fix all the multiplayer issues, and I have not and will not play black ops! If your not happy with a game or a studio, grow some stones and don’t support it!
But for me, I love fallout nv! I have had some issues, but I love the franchise, and it will be patched. Patience is a virtue!

This DLC would be great. If it was available on PS3. I'm going to put faith in Bethesda and believe it will eventually be released on PS3. If not, they're stupid and going to lose a lot of money. I would definitely buy it for PS3. Let's hope any bugs get worked out with the XBox so it plays as it should for the rest of us!

Why do people bother complaining about bugs? so what you paid however many dib dabs / dollars / pounds…a game so huge, made in that kind of timescale, with the ammount of npc interaction, multiple storylines, etc. etc., theres going to be bugs.
If you're not happy with that fact, then stick to more linear 'easy to weed of bugs' games, else wait for the patch.
