Unlock iPhone iOS 4.2 After Release?

Apple’s iOS 4.2 update will pack some nice new features for the iPhone release, but just a small amount of changes when compared to the out-of-date iPad device. With that said, iPhone users will look forward to the new changes, especially printing directly to a printer (if this still releases on time).

Earlier today we heard some more details about the Sn0wbreeze 2.1 jailbreak for iPhone OS 4.1, and that followed the recent details on Cydia’s app download for the iOS 4.2 update.

With all these choices for the next Apple device software, how far will users go to get more control from their iOS 4.2 devices? The release date for iOS 4.2 is yet to be confirmed officially, but when the public download is live will you unlock your iPhone?

There's already a million ways to jailbreak an iDevice but the real challenge and key here is, can they Unlock the iPhones already. It's been forever and still no unlocks for the 4.1 on the 3GS and i4's.

Not that I don't appreciate their hardwork.

The unlock will come out after 4,2 is released. 4.1 and 4.2 release dates were too close to waste a baseband hack between the two..

I got iPhone 3GS I paid to be unlock on o2 website 15£ now is factory unlock on baseband 05.14.02. I can update to 4.2 no problem but if you got iPhone on contract with o2 unlock it for free.
