A new application has recently become available which can tell you in seconds how healthy a food item is when out shopping. FoodMeter: Good Food or Bad Food? 1.0 is available for owners of the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch.
Released by Viaden Mobile the app uses a well known Food Score system to evaluate the item in no time. An intuitive interface helps users to make the right choice without any inconvenience. The special barcode scanner identifies a food item by its UPC; users can also enter a barcode manually or search an item by name.
Another great feature is the professional support service offering consultation on dieting free of charge via a team of experts. Users can post information about the chosen foods onto their Facebook and Twitter accounts.
FoodMeter: Good Food or Bad Food? 1.0 is available worldwide on the App Store. iOS 3.1.3 or later required.
