We have some good news for those of you looking to use Cydia on your jailbroken iOS 4.2 device, as it looks like the application will once again be able for usage after Apple releases their iOS 4.2 software update.
For those of you that are unaware, Apple’s numerous API-related changes in beta versions of iOS 4.2 meant that Cydia was incompatible for the time being.
However, as RedmondPie reports, news has come from Twitter that Cydia is now ready for release on a jailbroken iPhone or iPod Touch device. All that is left now, is for Apple to actually release iOS 4.2, so the creators of Cydia can get their release out almost simultaneously.
Hopefully Apple will deliver iOS 4.2 before the weekend as previously rumored. We’ll keep you updated on this situation.
