We have some important news for those of you with a Samsung Vibrant handset on T-Mobile, as while we can confirm that a new Android 2.2 Froyo ROM has leaked for the device, it is said to be unstable at the moment and users should approach with caution.
As reported from Android Central, the download was available over the weekend and was also compatible with the Samsung Epic 4G. However, before you go and download it, you should be aware that there are notable problems with the new build.
These include an issue with the phone’s radio at the moment, and a collection of other minor hiccups which may annoy you after installing. If you have experience in this field though and would still like to give it a shot, you’ll find the download over at XDA Forums here. Confirmed features include GPS and WiFi calling.
For those of you willing to install this, let us know how your handset fairs afterwards.
