We have some good news for those of you who are planning to pick up a Samsung Galaxy Tab either in the UK or US, as we have made things easier for you by compiling a full list of prices for each relevant carrier.
As most of you are already aware, the Samsung Galaxy Tab will be available on pretty much every carrier going, that includes UK carriers as well. We’ll start off with the prices for US carriers AT&T, Verizon, Sprint and T-Mobile.
AT&T hasn’t announced a firm price for their Samsung Galaxy Tab, but we’re guessing it will be in-line with Verizon’s $599 pricetag since they’ll be going head-to-head during the holiday season. As for Sprint and T-Mobile, Sprint will price their Galaxy Tab at $399 with a two-year contract, while T-Mobile will offer the Tab for the same $399, two year contract deal.
For UK consumers, the Telegraph has written up a useful report, detailing the prices for the UK version of the Samsung Galaxy Tab. Like the US, the Tab will be available on all major UK carriers, with prices as follows. O2 will be charging the most for it outright, as it will be priced at a hefty £599. Vodafone has it priced at £499 with a cheap £10 data deal, while Orange has given customers the option of buying for £529 or £499 depending on which plan they want.
T-Mobile UK will also require a large £529 fee for the Tab, but unlike O2, they’ll be offering consumers pay-as-you-go data bundles starting at £2 per day. Last but not least, Three are also jumping on the Samsung Galaxy Tab bandwagon, and they’ll be offering it for a variety of prices starting from £99 up to £500 – again this is dependant on which plan you take out with the carrier.
Quite a lot to take in there, but at least you have pricing details all in one place – no need to keep hunting around. We’ll update this if we get any more relevant details. Let us know if you have any additional information on pricing for any carriers in the US and UK.
