CoD Black Ops: Will You Queue for Midnight Release?

By Jamie Pert - Nov 8, 2010

As you are probably aware, at midnight tonight Call of Duty: Black Ops will become available globally, we thought we would see just how many of you will be queuing for Black Ops at midnight tonight.

Despite being an avid gamer for 18 years I have never been excited enough about a release to queue up for it, however I have been playing Modern Warfare 2 all year and cannot wait for the next game in the Call of Duty video game series.

I have not yet decided where to buy my copy from, I can either trade in Medal of Honor at Asda and pay just £4.97, or if I prefer I can trade in two relatively new titles at Blockbuster and pay just £0.99.

To be honest with you I do not mind paying the full retail price for Black Ops, I paid roughly £45 for MW2 last year and have played it online more than any other video game I have ever owned, therefore paying a similar price for Black Ops is not an issue for me.

I would normally preorder and get it a day or two early or even up to 2 days late (ShopTo.net, famous for sending games early sent MW2 2 days late last year!) rather than que up for midnight release or hunt around for a shop with some left the next day. Unfortunately I can't get post atm so I have to que up in the cold an rain outside Asda 🙁

I Will be at my local ASDA tonight paying the full retail price. I have pre-ordered. I dont like trading in games, i prefer to build up my collection I do sometimes go back to my old games.

But yes i will be there. I get discount too because my partner works there! 🙂
