T-Mobile MyTouch 4G Review: Great Specs, but Poor Design?

We have an interesting review for you to check out now, for those of you planning to buy the recently released T-Mobile MyTouch 4G handset. Does it live up to all the hype that it has been getting from T-Mobile?
The review comes to you courtesy of Engadget, who have scored the MyTouch 4G a very respectable 7/10. You’ll be pleased to know that Engadget are very positive about the actual hardware features that you get on the phone, but they were not so nice when discussing the build quality of the MyTouch 4G.
They believe that T-Mobile’s new flagship handset feels ‘cheap’ in the hand, and the on-board earpiece speaker grill located at the top of the handset is one of the main reasons why they feel the MyTouch 4G is ‘ugly’. Lucky, this is just their opinion, and those of you buying one may actually like the choice of design from HTC.
On the plus side, they have praised the video chat features on the phone, while support for WiFi calling is a big plus too. They said that battery life was good and even lasted more than a day of moderate usage – which isn’t too common with other smartphones on the market at the moment.
For those of you who already own a MyTouch 4G, do you agree with Engadget’s criticism of the design or not? Check out their full review here and let us know your thoughts on this.
