We have some good news for regular users of the official Twitter app for Android, as we can confirm that the app has just received an update, adding a considerable ammount of new features and functionality.
As reported from Mashable, you’ll find a full list of changes over on the official Twitter blog, but we can tell you that the key improvements include: more Tweet details whenever you click on a particular Tweet, the ability to swype your finger across Tweets for further information, the new ‘Pull to Tweet’ feature and a cool addition called ‘Quote a Tweet’ which will serve as an alternative to those users who don’t like the Retweet option.
The update is live now, and you can download it the next time you open the Twitter application on your Android device connected to the internet. Have a play through all the new features and let us know which is your favorite so far.
There are also some screenshots of the updated Twitter over at Mashable if you’re interested.
