If you saw the headline Call of Duty: Black Ops for £7.99, I am certain that you would think there is some sort of catch? Well you would be correct in that assumption, as you will have to trade-in your copy of Medal of Honor to take advantage of this offer.
The offer for COD Black Ops is from HMV in the UK, and they seem certain that because people have not been happy with MoH, they will be more than happy with the trade-in. HMV knows that they cannot compete with the likes of Sainsbury’s and Tesco in the price war, but this offer will not go unnoticed.
James Love from Connected Consoles states that there is another catch though, you cannot get this offer until November 15th, not certain how many gamers will wait that long to get their hands on a copy of Black Ops? That’s almost a week, good luck on that one HMV.
We already mentioned that retailers have already started their price war for this latest title from the franchise; we have yet to see it for £26, which is how much Sainsbury’s sold Modern Warfare 2 for.
Will you take HMV up on this offer, or is it too long to wait?
