COD Black Ops: Buying Mostly For Zombies?

By Peter Chubb - Nov 3, 2010

You do not have to be a genius to know that Call of Duty: Black Ops is going to be a popular game, and is expected to sell in record numbers. There are a number of reasons why Black Ops will sell well, and one of them is because Zombies Mode. However, it has come to my attention that some people will buy the game just because of the inclusion of the undead.

I know how excited gamers got when Zombies Mode was released for World at War, but I thought that this took over the main part of the game. It was as if we waited almost a year for a new Call of Duty title, only to forget about it and try to kill as many zombies as we could.

Black Ops already looks to be an awesome game; I just hope that gamers give it a chance before they get sidetracked with Zombies Mode? Do not get me wrong, it is a lot of fun, and some of the new zombies looks to be much scarier than the previous version.

Are you buying COD Black Ops to play the normal mode in either campaign or multiplayer, or are you waiting to get your hands on some guns and kill a few zombies?

I enjoy video games and hate little kids with big mouths. However since I have low speed internet and am unable to play online, so I plan to buy the game for the single player. To answer the article, zombies are my favorite part of the game, however I will finish the story first. Zombies will just make the experience last a little longer for people with slow internet.

Akimbo blades I thank you I hated in MW2 when little kids bitch about quick scopers and stuff. So,you keep putting these juvaniles in place

i want to know whether people buy CoD in genral just to play multiplayer because they have no life? and also why is it rated 18, 15 yeah okay but 18 is just redickules(cant spell that word) who in the right mind plays on fucking video games ay 18+ those people are just soo sad and really have no life 🙂

Would you say people who are over 18 and watch DVD's at home have no life and need to get out more? What about TV? How is playing computer games any less useful then watching X Factor or striclty come dancing. My parents both watch about 15 hours a week of TV, which is actually pretty normal for most people. So why do you target games players so much, surely any actitiy involving sitting infront of the TV in your book is worthless and a waste of time?

    • hmmm too answer the question if you take a little time to play the game you will notice the gore in the game is excessive therfore need the 18 tag you may not see it if your under the age of 18 as steam will restrict that part of the game and you will have crappy child like anims when you shoot people 😉

lots of games are 18 too .. im not sure but doom3 was an 18 ,…, GTA is an 18 people play games over that age because the games released aint shit like … viva pinyata

      silly people posting shit lol

hey man i work in oil fild about a hundread hours a week and on my weekend i like to chill and get down on some COD!!!!!!!! so you me friend shut the ******* up Thank you

    • Tom

Why would you even comment on a conversation about video games if you feel this way? I think that is sad itself…

      • Marcel

I know why, cause this guy has been influenced by every little person he meets and he wants to be popular and join the flock of sheep in the world. So by saying this he can go to his sheppard and tell them that he told off some gamers and so that they can congratulate, which would make his poor little insecure self feel better.
PS i am a teenager and i hate it when other teens scream in their mics i just mute them 🙂

  • Just Bob

Is the new COD: Black ops using steam as a multiplayer interface? If so I won't be buying it…..

  • im ready to poop on everyone in multiplayer because this game is simply to easy. zombies is gonna be cool. buuut….. ill stick to firefight, so much more intense

    • Akimbo blades

Ok, first of all no one says that they are going to take a crap on anyone, that’s just wrong. Secondly, it should be “too” not “to”. Thirdly, why did you say firefight, I believe that is a term used in Gaylo Reach’s “zombie” mode. Dude, by the looks of your sentence structure and the oddly peculiar choice of words you use, I would have to say that you are a little child. If you haven’t already figured it out, this game is rated mature for adults and is totally not appropriate for your age. I would stick to Halo if I were you, this game is for grown-ups. I honestly do not want to hear little kids like you screaming into their mics just to get attention. Peace, I’m outta here. ( sry if I didn’t use good transition, I had a long night last night)

      • boby

you just burned that guy so bad

      • uhoh

Umm Halo is rated M too. So yeah I think you're both pretty stupid.

        Actually…
        It is " to "

        and its sorry not "sry"

you cant go on a rant at someone.. then completely contradict yourself

        • Tom

          Actually…
It is 'too'. Akimbo is one of the few people who writes comments online who still has some grasp of the correct way to use the English language.

We can for give his use of 'sry' as he had a long night.
