White iPhone 4: Delayed – New Release Date ETA

There was a time when this would be considered pretty shocking to say the least, but you’ll be unsurprised to hear that Apple has once again delayed the release of the White iPhone 4, with a new date now pushed back into 2011.

As reported from Engadget, Apple has once again failed to give a solid explanation on why their white device just can’t seem to make it to market, but as we’ve told you in the past, it is very likely that it is due to the company having problems manufacturing the white color with their partners over in China.

As for the new release date, Apple has said that we should expect it to land sometime during ‘Spring 2011′. Is anyone honestly upset about this? By the time Spring arrives next year, everyone will be thinking of the iPhone 5 anyway, and the Black iPhone will probably be available on Verizon too.

What are your thoughts on this latest delay? Has Apple blown it?

I'm actually pretty mad about this. I've been waiting 4 months as it is. My 3G is starting to show its age and I was hoping to get a white iPhone 4 around the holidays. I would agree that it would be stupid to buy an iPhone 4 in Spring, when we know in June/July, we'll see iPhone 5. Looks like I'll be waiting a little bit long that I would have liked… but I guess I'll have some thing to look forward to.

this is completely ridiculous! why come out w an iphone 4 when we already understand that it is having too many problem. give the (POS) iphone 4 to verizon and let them deal w it. i swtiched to ATT because of the iphone and now im stuck w the 3g for WAY longer than anticipated. im ready to go to the competitor at this rate. this is some BS.

Fuck that.Seriously i have always owned Nokias and was waiting for the white iPhone.But fuck that,i will be getting the new Nokia it has better specs anyway.Steve just lost a new believer he can keep the new white iphone.

I've been waiting for one. It would have been my first iPhone as well but I'm not going to wait any longer and certainly won't buy one in the future now either. I'll buy a HTC or something else. Pretty shody way to treat customers. I have a couple of Macs at home as it is. Slowly going off Apple treating us like idiots. Give us some real honest answers!

I really do love apple all together, but this is getting very very annoying…I have been waiting for the white version of the iPhone 4 since the black version came out…my current 3G phone is dying and I have contacted apple a few times asking when they were expecting to release the white version and the answer I keep getting is “soon”…I got “soon” last June, I got “soon” in September, I got “soon” in october and now this…I am really upset about this because I don’t think my 3G phone can make it until the spring forget summer when the iPhone 5 comes out…I am really truly disappointed with apple and I am sure that I am not the only one…I am really considering trying something new if they dont pay attention to what the customers are saying it seems like the customers don’t matter anymore
