The day will come when you meet a woman and then start a family, that will be the moment when you have to plan for the future and buy yourself a Minivan – I know it is not going to make you look good driving down the street, but you have to think practical. For those of you who are in the market now, here we have a 2010 Minivan Guide.
Edmunds has done a huge amount of research into this and has 10 tips to help you decide which Minivan is right for you – as we all have different needs. Some tips stand out more than others, such as your budget, operating costs, safety etc.
So let us take a look at a couple of the things that you need to consider. The first is the Size/Market Segment. Edmunds explains that Minivans come in three sizes: compact, regular and large – your choice is dependent on the size of your family.
Prices for these range from $19,000 to over $40,000 – just try not to get something that you do not need, as it is easy to start going over your budget. However, if you do have a decent size budget and would like to have a peaceful journey, then some Minivans come equipped with a range of accessories to keep your children occupied.
Some parents may think that having an SUV is enough for a family, but luggage space is limited compared to that of a Minivan. Just remember your priorities have now changed – it is all about keeping your family safe and making it easier to travel from A-to-B.
