Back to the Mac is now over and Apple did not disappoint, and it is so nice to see that the rumors were true. Yes we got to see a few software upgrades, but the two main unveilings were the refresh of the current MacBook Air, along with the addition of a smaller 11-inch version.
Both are already available to purchase from the Apple Store starting at $999 for the 11.6-inch and $1,299 for the 13.3-inch model. Both notebooks have been given the hands-on treatment by Engadget; they have yet to offer a full review, but have made a couple of videos for you to enjoy. (See Below)
The smaller netbook size MacBook Air seems to be getting the most attention, and rightly so. However, you can see with the two side-by-side that the 13-inch model looks much larger than the 11-inch – but what did you expect?
Visit again later where we will go in to more details about specs and prices for each model and configuration you choose. There are three key features that stand out for me longer battery life, 2 USB ports and an SD Card Reader – the latter making it much easier to transfer images from my memory card.
What do you think of the two new Apple MacBook Air models?
