Verizon iPhone Vs iPad: Which one will you buy?

Now that we know that iPad is officially coming to Verizon Wireless at the end of this month, many consumers will be faced with a hard decision to make. Do you choose the iPad, or the upcoming iPhone expected early next year?
We doubt that the average consumer will be buying both devices straight away, as that would set you back well close to $1000, which is a bit hard to justify in the current economic climate. Then again, you could argue that both are completely different, seeing as one is a tablet, one is a smartphone and there is perfect need for both items in the household.
If you are restricted to just one device though, what would you choose? Would you go for the $630 priced Verizon iPad (16GB model), or go for the iPhone on Verizon which is likely to come in at $199 on contract?
The easy option would be to just have both, but not everyone is financially flexible. Let us know your choice below in our included poll. We’ll post the results later on.
