Droid X: List of Official Problems after Froyo Update

For those of you who are still having problems on your Motorola Droid X handset after installing the Android 2.2 Froyo update, you’ll be pleased to know that Motorola has just posted a thread listing all of the official ‘known’ problems so far.

As reported from Phandroid, the following list is pretty big in terms of handset issues, but while Motorola state that these problems are not too widespread, they have certainly caused a fair amount of frustration for Droid X owners.

Official problems listed by Motorola include being stuck on the Motorola logo after rebooting, errors within the battery manager, random rebooting, WiFi connection issues, Music file playback problems and error messages when trying to play media.

Quite a big list don’t you think? The good news is that Motorola has acknowledged all of these problems, and they are currently working on a new patch update to sort it all out.

    I updated my DX to 2.2 and since then when I download my email from the POP3 server all of the emails are dated Dec. 31, 1969. I had this same problem with a D2 and returned it for the X as Verizon could not fix this. With 2.1 it was no problem.

    Anybody else having this problem? Anybody have a fix?

    Downloaded it this morning and my phone stopped working, the screen just frezed and none of the applications was working…. Very disappointed. After troubleshooting T Mobile is sending me a new phone. I doubt that the phone is the issue, my phone was working just fine until that OS upgrade was installed…

    Camera-black screen, and when does work, doesnt save picture.
    Camcorder-click to record and goes straight to home page.

    Since the update my phone will cut out after 4 or 5 minutes for no reason. It does happen a lot but enough to be annoying. The battery is fine and so is the signal.
