November 2nd was a day that was etched in the mind of every PS3 racing fan, as this was the date that Sony and Polyphony Digital were to release the much-anticipated Gran Turismo 5. However, since we reported yesterday that the game has been hit with another delay, questions need answering.
OK, so we know that we have that statement, but what is the real reason? One rumor suggests that Sony is waiting until PS3 firmware update 3.50 is ready, while a recent article in The New York Times suggests there is a supply issue.
Do you think that it is possible that the delay of GT5 could be due to the fact that Sony and the developer fears piracy; so will wait until the next update becomes available?
There is no evidence of either, but all we know is some fans of the franchise have finally had enough and have canceled their pre-orders. I have yet to order mine, as I have seen in the past that these release dates come and go so often.
Have you canceled your pre-order?
