We have some good news for those of you who are experiencing problems with the PS3 version of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, as publishers Konami has just confirmed that a patch update will be available soon.
As reported from Joystiq, users playing the PS3 version are complaining about a glitch in the game which may cause players to lose their entire save file.
This occurs when a message appears on screen, stating that their game save is ‘corrupted’, and then asking them to overwrite it to continue. Obviously clicking yes to this will then wipe the save completely, so it’s very frustrating for those who have encountered it.
Luckily, Konami has already acknowledged the problem and they have stated that a patch update will be available for the game soon. In the meantime, back up your game saves to counter this problem.
