We have recently spoken about alternative tablets to the iPad, like the Samsung Galaxy Tab and BlackBerry PlayBook. A report by Tim Stevens over at engadget.com provides us with some details on the new Advent Vega Tablet PC.
This device is said to run the Android 2.2 operating system, and will be powered by an NVIDIA Tegra 1GHz processor. When out and about, you can use 3G via its integrated SIM slot or use the Wi-Fi that allows connectivity to Hot Spots or your wireless network at home.
A capacitive touch screen is offered measuring 10-inches with an integrated 1.3MP webcam, as well as other features including a HDMI port, 512MB of RAM and an internal storage space of 512MB, but can be expanded by the microSD card slot.
According to Engadget, Dixons UK will be stocking this Advent Vega device, as from 18th October for £249. Do you reckon you will get this new Tablet PC?
