Microsoft has today heated up the smartphone market with the launch of Windows Phone 7, at the launch event they recently officially announced 10 WP7 smartphones, which they will hope will battle it out with Android and iOS-based offerings.
Five of these smartphones are manufactured by HTC, these are the HTC HD7, the HTC 7 Pro, HTC 7 Surround, HTC 7 Trophy and HTC 7 Mozart, if you check out the source link at the end of this post you can find out a little bit more about these devices.
Two Samsung were announced, these are the Samsung Focus and the Samsung Omnia 7, both of which feature massive 4-inch Super AMOLED displays.
LG announced two devices, these are the LG Optimus 7 and the LG Quantum, we have previously spoke about the Optimus 7 here, you may recall it was previously dubbed the E900. As for the Quantum it is headed to AT&T and was previously dubbed the C900.
Finally Dell has announced one Windows Phone 7 smartphone, this is the Dell Venue Pro, which was previously known at the Dell Lightning, this device features a massive 4.1-inch display and is a portrait slider headed to T-Mobile.
