In roughly three weeks the long awaited release of Gran Turismo 5 finally takes place, therefore it is no surprise to hear that one retailer is claiming impressive pre-order sales.
Exact figures have not been revealed, however shopto.net claim that Gran Turismo 5 is currently top of the all formats pre-order charts, I must admit this news took me by surprise as I thought that Black Ops would be top of the charts.
Obviously one site’s pre-order sales may not truly reflect the whole market, however Polyphony Digital and Sony must be pretty happy to hear that the PS3 exclusive seems to be holding its own in the all formats pre-order charts.
Whilst at Eurogamer I got some hands-on time with Gran Turismo 5, personally playing in 3D gave me a headache, however playing normally was extremely pleasing on the eye and I’m sure that those of you who have pre-ordered GT5 won’t be disappointed with what is bound to be a huge success for the PS3.
