John Lennon Google Doodle: Watch The Video

Today marks the 30th anniversary of the death Tomorrow would have been the 70th birthday of John Lennon – one of the greatest singer-songwriters that ever lived. The ex-Beatles band member was just 40 when he died. The Google Doodle today has to be one of the best yet, and features a video along with the song “Imagine”, which you can see below.
Normally when you click on the Doodle you are then taken to a search results page of the event, this time when you click the logo a video starts. The animation is simple, but is made all the more powerful with the words of the John Lennon song.
This is not the first interactive Google Doodle; back on September 7th we had all those dots. To some it was annoying, but I thought that it made a refreshing change.
However, the best has to be the Pacman Doodle; this was actually a playable game on the Google homepage to celebrate our little friend’s 30th anniversary.
