Verizon 4G LTE: Rollout Update – List of Cities So far

We have some important news for those of you currently with Verizon, as the US carrier has just announced that their 4G LTE network rollout will provide coverage in 38 cities and 60 airports in the US.

As BGR reports, the good thing is that the rollout has been confirmed by Verizon to be happening before the end of the year. If you live in a fairly populated city, then the chances of you getting 4G LTE 5-12Mbps downlink speeds are very high.

Cities in the initial list include New York, Washington D.C, Miami, Los Angeles and Chicago, while some of the airports include Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International, John F. Kennedy International and Portland International.

The full list of cities so far is too long to list here, so head to BGR to read the full list yourself. There is also much more details from Verizon’s press release too.

Are you eligible for 4G LTE coverage or not? Let’s hope you have a shiny new iPhone to go along with it!
