An app which lets users care for and raise a virtual baby has just been updated. iBaby (Perfect Parent) 1.05 gives users a real life experience of what it is like to care for an infant, and is available for owners of the iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad.

Released by Allapps, iBaby lets users choose pick what gender and ethnicity they want their virtual child to be. They are then presented with a virtual newborn that is educational and entertaining. Just like in real life when the iBaby cries parents can tend to the problem.

Your iBaby will cry when it needs a clean diaper, isn’t feeling well, or needs comforting. Users tend to its needs by rocking or patting the back in a soothing way.

They can also give it medicine or take it to the doctor. When the baby is happy it will reward you with a heartwarming smile. Details of the user’s iBaby can be mailed to friends.
