Back in January Peter Chubb reported details on the pre-order and price from Amazon for the Leica M9. Now if you prefer something a little more special, then you might like the Neiman Marcus Edition of the Leica M9 camera.
According to an article by Donald Melanson over at engadget.com, if you wanted this special version of the M9, there are only 50 units to be had and only through the Neiman Marcus Christmas book at a high price of $17,500.
This model has a rugged Leica M body coated in brown ostrich leather and comes with a strap to match. It is also equipped with a Summicron-M 35mm f2.0 ASPH lens offering a chrome finish; sapphire glass covered 2.5-inch screen and an 18-mega-pixel sensor.
