SEGA has once again confirmed that they will be providing another Marvel-movie based game, by announcing Captain America: Super Solider for release on multiplatform next year.
The question is though, are you prepared to give SEGA another chance? In my opinion they blew their chances of redeeming their movie-based games reputation with the terrible Iron Man games, so as a Marvel fan looking forward to the Captain America movie next year, I’m a bit worried that history will repeat itself.
As VG247 reports, the game will be available next year, on the PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, PSP and DS. Before you ask, no we didn’t miss off the PC version, because there isn’t one according to SEGA.
The game will be a third-person action adventure set in World War II, with Steve Rogers aka Captain America taking on arch enemy Red Skull, who just so you know will be played by Hugo Weaving (Agent Smith) in the movie.
The game will be due out with the movie, so we’re guessing that will be around July next year. Let us know if you’ll be giving SEGA another chance or not. Read the full press release over at VG247 for more details on the story.
