Maybach Coupe Pictures: Surely Not ?

After only seeing some official sketches, German engineering firm Xenatec have shown off pictures of it’s latest coupe, based on the £586,00 Maybach 57S.

According to it’s creators the coupe has been designed for “those who prefer to savour the Maybach experience from the driver’s seat,” and who are we to argue?

Daimler gave the all clear for Xenatec to work their magic, with only 100 hand-built vehicles being available. With the 57S platform, the coupe boasts a 6.0-litre V12 powerplant assisted by two turbochargers. Obviously the main changes come with the redesigned bodywork. Modified doors allow rear passenger access, while the front and rear screens are raked steeply to gain that coupe shape.

Other than the extensive body modifications, it’s front and rear bumpers have been changed to match the reshaped wings, with the facelifted Maybach fascia adorning the front. Adding 20-inch alloys with the option of 21s, the rear track has also benefited from a 20mm extension. Click on to the link below to see more pictures.
