Christmas is almost upon us, so it comes as no surprise that Nintendo has released details of their title lineup for not only the Wii but the DS as well. These all have Q4 launch dates, with some being released as early as October 1.
Looking at the email that we were sent, it is clear to see that there is a mix of old favorites and new titles. Do not let the launch of the PlayStation Move and Xbox 360 Kinect put you off the Wii, Nintendo were first to launch this technology on a games console and sales speak for themselves.
One of the most anticipated returns is Donkey Kong Country Returns, which will be released on the Wii on December 1st. Another Wii title is FlingSmash, this is said to be a mix of tennis and pinball – I know, I am still trying to understand what it means.
The Nintendo DS also has a few standout games, such as Professor Layton and the Lost Future, along with Pokémon Ranger: Guardian Signs. These games will be released on October 22nd and November respectively.
These are just a few that we think will do very well; Nintendo will release the complete list very soon. I tried to grab a screen print from the email with the entire list, but it was just too large.
