Sonic 4: Xbox 360, PS3 & Will Release Date and Price Confirmed

If you have been looking forward to the release of Sonic the Hedgehog 4 we have some great news for you, the release date and price has now been revealed for the Xbox 360, PS3, Wii and iTunes releases.

Sonic the Hedgehog 4 will arrive on iTunes on October 7th and will play on your iPod or iPod Touch (the price is currently unknown), there has been no mention of a dedicated iPad release, however I would have thought the iPod/iPhone release will be compatible.

The game will be a downloadable title and will be available on October 13th from the Xbox Live Marketplace for 1200 Microsoft Points and PSN for $9.99. It will arrive at the Wii Shop channel on October 15th for 1500 Wii Points.

Will you buy Sonic The Hedgehog 4? I most certainly will be!

      YESH the date one day before my birthday so ill get it by then on 360
      and 1200 micro points isn't that bad :)

      I, for one, will not be purchasing Sonic 4. I had high hopes for this game to be awesome, and, gameplay wise, it looks great, but if Sega thinks I'm gonna put down 1200 points on a game with only 4 zones, they're dead wrong. I'm sorry, but I refuse to pay that much for something with so little content. Next time, give the fans an amount of content worthy of the price point, Sega. I find it sad that they think that just because it's something fans have been asking for, that they can screw around and offer so little. It's like Eddie Murphy's joke about giving a staving man a cracker. Dirty pool, Sega. Dirty pool.

        Theres going to be about 4 episodes, and 1200 is £10, so 4 X £10 is £40, the price of a retail game.

        So, its a decent price.
