White iPhone 4: Do you still want it?

We are coming towards the end of September now, and we still don’t have an update on the release of the much-sought after White iPhone 4 device. We thought it would be out at the end of September, but that doesn’t appear to be the case.

The question is though, are you still prepared to wait for Apple? There are plenty of other handsets to choose from, but you would have to consider switching to another carrier from AT&T.

Sprint has the HTC EVO 4G and now the new Epic 4G (Samsung Galaxy S), while Verizon are still riding high with their collection of Android-based Motorola Droid handsets.

Personally, I think a four month delay for a handset is simply not good enough, especially when Apple fail to give the slightest indication for when the device will be available. Delays happen we understand, but the fact that they haven’t bothered to give their ‘loyal’ customers an update on the situation is not good enough.

Are you still prepared to wait for the White iPhone 4 or have you had enough?

Look no matter what Apple does they will continue to dig their own grave. I mean it does have some great features but white or not the iPhone 4 has major design flaws. Design should never come before function and usability. Apple seems to have forgotten that.

I mean the iPhone 4 held the number one spot in the top ten ranking on pc world. Once Apple gave that press conference they took it down with out explanation. However, http://getyourgadgetsgoing.com/2010/07/25/iphone-… took a look into it. The results are rather interesting.

I’m an Apple fan, but I think this is downright frustrating to be waiting for a white iPhone that will never come. I’ve given up and bought an android phone instead. If I can’t get the aesthetics I want with my iPhone, why would I settle for a lesser iPhone? When this comes out, the only people who will rush for it are the maddened apple fanboys who believe that Apple can do not wrong. If antennagate doesn’t convince them, nothing ever will.

I have a black iPhone 4. I am having no issues what so ever, so I don't know what some are talking about. Also, there is a service someone offers that allows you to ship your iPhone 4 and they return it with white glass on and the black glass off.

We're waiting for the white iPhone. It's worth it. It's worth it. It's worth it. You can complain all you want but we would rather be at the mercy of Apple and wait for the White iPhone than switch to another carrier———-OR———-even go to a 3rd party manufacturer to replace the black iPhone with a white backing for an extra $200. Fuck that. We would (and I mean the two of us) rather wait.

honestly… if the white iphone isn't out until November or December then I'm just going to wait until the next iphone comes out, after all if I've waited 6 months already then I'll just wait 6 more for the next new iphone.
