We have some good news for those of you planning to get yourself a swanky Motorola Droid 2 R2D2 Edition, as it has been confirmed that dummy units are now arriving at Verizon Wireless stores.
BGR has managed to obtain some exclusive photos of the handset, which show the front and back sides of the device, as well as the launch kit packaging.
We have already seen what the back of the R2D2 Droid 2 looks like, but this is perhaps the first picture we’ve seen of the slide-out QWERTY keyboard – and we like it.

While most of you will probably be content with your standard Droid 2 handset, I think theres a fair few of you who are itching to pick up one of these.
Hopefully we’ll have more juicy details on the handset soon. Enjoy all of the pictures over at BGR.
