Similac Baby Formula Recall 2010: Site Down Again

We told you earlier today that the Similac website was back up and running concerning the lot numbers affected in the baby formula recall. Now we have learnt the website has crashed again due to the huge demand.
To recap we first told you about the recall yesterday which affects around 5 million of the company’s powdered baby formula. The formula which is being recalled can be found in some Caribbean countries, Guam, Puerto Rico and the US.
The problem with the baby formula is that a common beetle may be found in the product. Not all of the Similac formulas are part of the recall, only those found in plastic containers and are in 8-ounce, 12.4-ounce and 12.9-ounce cans. If consumed children may have symptoms such as gastrointestinal discomfort and refusing to eat.
While the website is down you can find the Similac Lot Numbers here.
