New Apple TV Release: Shipping About To Start

We are hearing reports suggesting that Apple are taking payments for their second generation Apple TV units, which means that Apple may well begin shipping them very soon.
Previously Apple has taken preorder payments when products are ready to ship, therefore it seems very likely that consumers may well start receiving their shiny new gadgets pretty soon.
The new Apple TV was revealed on September 1st 2010, when they announced it they hinted that it would be available in roughly four weeks, therefore it seems as if this imminent shipping date fits in with Apple’s release plans.
Apple revealed the new Apple TV unit earlier this month, it is thought that high sales are expected thanks to the very reasonable $99 pricetag, not bad for a device a quarter of the size of its predecessor.
