LittleBigPlanet 2 PS3: Worldwide Release Date Delayed

By Updated on

Up until today gamers have been under the impression that LittleBigPlanet 2 will arrive in January 2011, however the game’s developer has recently revealed that the release has been pushed back.

LittleBigPlanet 2′s team recently announced this on their official website, here they seemed very apologetic, however suggested that they need more time to make sure that gamers receive the best gaming experience imaginable.

No new release date was stated, however they did let slip that they are going to find a way to give gamers a taste of LittleBigPlanet 2 prior to launch, which in my opinion means they may either release a demo or beta.

The developers have stated that it won’t be long before the release, however what they class as not long and what you and me class as not long could be two completely different things.

Personally I think that this sort of delay is totally understandable and worth waiting for, let’s face it if the developers are not happy with the time they have to finalize the game, consumers probably wouldn’t be happy with the rushed release.

Are you frustrated by the delay?

    FIRST!!!

I will gladly wait for a superior product.

This is inaccurate info, it was set to release in November, the push back has placed it in January.

Can't say I'm at all happy about this, the only positive is it saves money for me this year.

Agree with Grant, this is inaccurate information. The release date is January 2011 as posted on MM site. The original date of November 16 2010 was pushed back until January 2011.
Someone should vet their facts. Sonyblog is announcing that it is the 18th of January 2011. MM is announcing January of 2011.
Regardless of exactly which date, the November 2010 date is null and void and gamers need to look towards January of 2011 for the release of Little Big Planet 2.
