iPad VLC Media Player App: Supercharge Video Playback Capability

To many the Apple iPad is an amazing piece of technology, but with most things it has its flaws, which is why there are those who would rather choose a clone. The main issue and one that we can all agree on is the poor video playback support. However, thanks to the new VLC Media Player App, this lackluster feature has now been supercharged.

The first and most important thing to tell you is that the iPad VLC Media Player App available from iTunes if Free – that’s right it will not cost you a cent. The new application means that your iPad device will now be able to play almost all video formats – including DivX and Xvid.

Waisybabu from Redmond Pie believes that even if you no not use your iPad for video playback, it is still one app that needs to be downloaded and installed. We would have to agree with that, as you never know when you will need to use the application.

The only issue that I can see with the VLC Media Player for the iPad is that it does not support video out for TV. We can also inform you that the developers are currently working on a version of this app for the iPhone and iPod Touch. There are those who believe that the Galaxy Tab from Samsung is a much better tablet than the iPad, but will issues with application affect Tab sales?
