Internet Explorer 9 Beta: Available for Download

As promised Microsoft has now launched the Internet Explorer 9 beta, they are promoting it by saying “play in a more beautiful web”, let’s hope it doesn’t disappoint.

I have installed the web browser on my Windows 7 laptop, and first-impressions are good, the download was just 39MB in size and it took roughly 3 minutes to install, I will post my first impressions later on today once I have had time to use it properly.

If you want to download the beta you can find it here, install it and share your thoughts in the comments section below.

Have you installed the Internet Explorer 9 beta? If so, will you set it as your default browser? If not, why not?

Installed it on a secondary computer.
It seems that it doesn't support WebSockets. Is it true? Somebody knows if that's the way it's going to be in the final release as well?
