Some more new cameras have been announced with Nikon adding three new models to its Coolpix range. All three will support at least 720P HD video, and will be available this fall.
The Coolpix S80 is a small touchscreen pocket camera with 14.1 megapixels. It has a 5x optical zoom and includes a HDMI-out for playback on a HDTV. This will be available for around $329.95.
The Coolpix P7000 is aimed at the top end of the compact market and features a wide angle lens with a 7.1x zoom. It has a number of automatic and manual settings and an ISO up to 6400, for great quality photos even in low light. This model will retail around $499.95.
Last but not least is the Coolpix S8100 which has a 12.1 megapixel backside illumination CMOS sensor. The camera is fast with 10fps and can record 1080p HD video, and will offer great pictures in really low light, with a purchase price of around $299.95.
