Today we can tell you of another worrying toy recall which can pose a laceration hazard to young children, and affects around 2,100 play sets.
The Land of Nod is recalling its toy set “Play With Your Veggies”, which is a set containing six toy vegetables which are made of felt wool. The set consists of asparagus, carrot, lettuce, onion, radish and tomato. The problem is the asparagus where a metal wire could become exposed and poses a laceration hazard.
No injuries have been reported and the toy was sold in The Land of Nod stores in Illinois and Washington, and in the company’s catalog and online store from October 2007 to February 2010 for around $25. Consumers are advised to return the asparagus immediately for a free replacement.
For more information contact The Land of Nod on (800) 933-9904 between 8.30 am and 5 pm, or visit the company’s website.
