Nokia N8: US Release Date Confirmed – Will you get one?

We have some great news for those of you looking to pick up the Nokia N8 smartphone, as an exec for the company has revealed a solid release date for when orders will start shipping in the US.
As reported from Engadget, Nokia’s Tapani Kaskinen revealed in a Finnish newspaper that the Nokia N8 would start shipping on September 30th, meaning that pre-orders are likely to reach customers in the first week of October.
In case you needed a quick refresh, the N8 is a 12MP smartphone, which will be running Symbian^3 and will come equipped with a 3.5-inch capacitive touchscreen. Other notable features include 16GB internal memory, HDMI out and 720p video recording.
It is still available to pre-order in the US, priced at $549 – hit this link for the product page at Nokia USA. How many of you will you be going for this though, knowing that there are much better handsets available on the market?
