Apple Store Down Today: September 1 2010 Event Announcement

Well this was inevitable. We’d just like to let you know that the Apple store in the US is now down. You just know that they are updating it with a funky new iPod Touch 4, iPod Nano and Apple TV!

As reported from Engadget, the store has been down for a few hours already, with Apple’s media event less than an hour away. The company are expected to use their event to unveil a collection of new hardware – you can find a full recap of their planned announcements here.

Just moments ago, we confirmed that Apple are definitely going to announce the 4G iPod Touch, so you can tick one new piece of Apple hardware off from your list. All we need now is a release date for the white iPhone 4, and i’d consider that a pretty good event!
