By Updated on

For those of you who have been impressed by the Samsung Galaxy S handset and are thinking of picking it up on Verizon Wireless, it looks like we have a confirmed launch date for the Android-powered device.

As reported from Phandroid, the Samsung Fascinate as it will be known on Verizon, is thought to be launching on September 9th – according to leaked training documents that have been posted online.

The training documents didn’t reveal too much other important information for us, but it did reveal the following tidbit:

”Employees can begin to pre-order the Samsung Fascinate (Device Shipping around 9/6 based on a 9/9 launch)”

While the Fascinate may not be able to tempt you away from other devices on Verizon, it will be one of the quickest Android handsets on the market, and we’ve heard that the 3D performance is excellent, thanks to the 1GHz Hummingbird processor.

To see the training documents for yourself, head over to Phandroid. Let us know if the Fascinate interests you or not.
