Behold what is thought to be the latest Android handset from Motorola, only known as the MB520 Kobe, which also goes by the codename of Diablo. The Droid X lookalike (a mini version to be precise) has recently been caught on camera, confirming the smartphone’s existence.
Although it is still a rumor, the “Kobe ATT” has been thought to land on the AT&T network and will feature a 3.5-inch LCD with 480×854 resolution, 800MHz TI OMAP processor, 512MB RAM, 4GB of storage split between internal and microSD card, a 3-megapixel camera (non-flash), and Android 2.1 with Motoblur-style interface similar to that seen on the Droid 2 and Droid X.
Specs show that the Kobe is not top of the list when it comes to smartphones, but it is no slouch either. The omission of Android 2.2 Froyo is not a huge problem as the update should be made available for download once the phone comes out of hiding.
Keep checking back for more news on this, as nothing else concrete can be said as of yet.
