It is pretty much a full gone conclusion that the Samsung Galaxy Tablet will run Google Android 2.2 FroYo and will provide some sort of USB connectivity, however it is nice to come across photos which finally confirm this.
A few photos recently showed up on Engadget, they are not the greatest in terms of quality, however one shot shows that there is USB support, the same photo also suggests that the initial Galaxy Tab will have a model number of GT-P1000 and will definitely run Android 2.2.
The photos over at Engadget (and embedded at the end of this post) don’t reveal anything else too exciting, however they confirm that there will be at least 4 physical buttons (home, menu, back and search), they also show that it runs WPTouch Pro (a touch screen client for WordPress) and features an iPhone-like charger/dock connector.
Engadget’s source suggests that the Galaxy Tab is lighter and more plasticky than the iPad, and thicker than the Dell Streak. As for specs the 7-inch display supports a resolution of 1,024 x 600, there is apparently a 3.2 megapixel camera, a built-in ebook app and 3G connectivity, all of this is unconfirmed, however sounds believable.
As we find out more we will do our best to filter out the news from the unlikely rumors, for more information check out the source link below.
