Tablets have been talk of the town recently, with a lot of big-bucked based companies coming up with their very own versions of Apple’s iPad. Google, HTC, and Verizon have been added to the tablet market with their very own Chrome OS based tablet, which we have some fresh details of regarding the multitouch technology.
We first broke the news about the rumored tablet just last week, and although specs are still circulating the rumor mill at the present time, Haaretz are now reporting that Israeli firm N-trig will be behind the screen and gesture inputs on the device.
N-trig are a company that use multitouch technology — meaning that you can use two, three or even four finger gestures when operating a touchscreen device.
Strange thing is, that N-trig are actually in partnership with Microsoft, as the Windows giants have invested in the company. That said, it definitely does not mean that they have exclusivity — therefore N-trig would be free to supply HTC with their technology for the Google Chrome tablet.
If you want to see N-trig’s multitouch display in action, take a look at the video we have embedded below.
With all the tablet talk that’s being thrown around, what tablet do you think will come out on top? Will the iPad out-wrestle its opponents?
