BlackBerry Torch 9800: UK Release Date and Price

If you live in the U.S. you may already have your hands on the BlackBerry Torch 9800, however up until now UK residents have not heard anything in terms of a release date or price.

Well, we now have some news for you, some of it good and some of it bad. The good news is that Expansys has the OS 6 based device on their website, with a release date of October 1st, the bad news is that it is expensive.

If you want to buy the Torch 9800 from eXpansys it has a SIM free price of £569.99, PhonesReview point out that the impressive Samsung Galaxy S is available from eXpansys for just £439.99.

It could be that this price changes when carriers begin offering the Torch, obviously carriers will offer the handset a greatly subsidized price as part of a contract, which could perhaps drive SIM free prices lower.

    I Was Really Looking Forward To Buying This Phone And Considering It's Only About $200 In America I Thought It Would Roughly Be About £150 Here. Now Seeing The Price There's No Way I'll Be Getting It. That Price Is Ridiculous.
